Rebecca Coulter

Rebecca, a University of Cambridge graduate with a UK teaching qualification, began her educational career in 1999. She initially served as Head of Performing Arts at schools in Southeast England before advancing into Sixth Form Leadership. As Director of Sixth Form with the Inspiration Trust, she significantly enhanced Sixth Form provision, earning acclaim as one of the top performing Sixth Forms for progress in the UK.

In her role as Vice Principal within an Academy Trust, Rebecca ensured outstanding academic standards, supervised pastoral care including child safeguarding, and maintained high-quality teaching and learning across the entire school. Since relocating to Dubai in 2016, she has served as Assistant Principal in the Kings’ School Group and Vice Principal of Jumeirah College, GEMS’ flagship UK Curriculum School, before assuming the position of Principal at Dubai British School Jumeirah Park, a Taaleem school. Her inspirational and visionary leadership culminated in the school receiving an “Outstanding” judgement from BSO in 2022 and KHDA in 2024, firmly establishing DBSJP as one of the leading schools in Dubai.

Rebecca is adept at spearheading school improvement and managing change, with particular expertise in safeguarding, student personal and social development, and leading staff and teacher development. She is especially skilled in evidence-informed learning, innovative educational pedagogy, and curriculum design. Rebecca holds the National Professional Qualification for Headship and is a certified trainer with UCL, specialising in senior leadership development.
