Key Stage 1 represents the first two years of the primary phase. During this important phase children will be taught an enriched National Curriculum programme, drawing upon best practice from the National Numeracy and National Literacy Strategies. They will be introduced to many subjects including English, Language and Literature, Mathematics, Science, Design and Technology, Computing, History, Geography, Music/Dance/Drama, Physical Education (PE) and Arabic.

The Key Stage 2 curriculum extends across Years 3 to 6 and builds upon a child’s achievements and progress through Key Stage 1. Our students will be encouraged to take greater responsibility for their own learning during Key Stage 2. In Year 6, students will take the KS2 Standard Attainment Tests (SATs) in Math, English and Science. A programme for Gifted and Talented Students will also be introduced at this stage to ensure the each child’s individual needs are met.

Each child will be encouraged to learn a musical instrument. A wide range of extra-curricular activities ranging from sports to academic interests and a variety of clubs and community activities will also be available for each child to choose from.

Our Primary School section will offer an environment for children to acquire and develop skills, knowledge and understanding that they will need for a successful transition to Secondary School. We value not only academic development, but also the social, emotional, creative and physical development of each child during these crucial years.
